Old San Juan

One of Puerto Rico’s most historic destinations also happens to be shopping mecca. As you walk through Old San Juan’s cobblestone streets, you’ll find a great variety of jewelry stores, art galleries, vintage shops, and local artisans. You’ll get hungry from all the shopping, but luckily Old San Juan features some of the best dining in the entire island.

Condado

If it’s luxury brands you’re looking for, head directly to Condado. The posh Ashford Avenue hosts top designer boutiques such as Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Louis Vuitton. Cap off your shopping spree with an evening out at one of Condado’s restaurants, bars or lounges. You probably won’t find a more active nightlife scene in the island.

The mall features an exclusive variety of merchants, such as: Versace, Camicissima, Giuseppe Zanotti, Anthropologie, Carolina Herrera, Hollister, lululemon athletica, Louis Vuitton, LUSH, Tory Burch, Pandora, Zara, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, Jimmy Choo, kate spade new york, and Soma, among others. Kona Grill, Brio Tuscan Grille, and Burger & Beer Joint are some of the delightful dining options. On the terrace, you can enjoy an astounding view, facing San José Lagoon and San Juan.

  1. Plaza Las Américas

With over 300 stores, Plaza Las Américas is the largest and most complete mall in the Caribbean. You can shop, eat, watch a movie; it is no wonder people call it “the center of it all.” Landmark stores include the only Macy’s in the Caribbean, JCPenney, and Sears.
