This nightlife landmark has a lounge on one floor, for those who just rather sit back and chat, and a full-blown dance floor on the other with a sound system that is up to par with some of the biggest clubs in the world.
Also located at the El San Juan Hotel’s lobby is The Rose, a cabaret inspired nightclub lit by Victorian lamps, vintage candelabras and rose-toned panels. The insides of this this vaudevillian lounge will transport you into another era and the ambience takes care of the rest.

Although you can find something to do almost anywhere in Old San Juan, most of the fun is concentrated South of Fortaleza Street, also commonly known as SoFo. SoFo is best known for its lively restaurants and casual lounges. The Parrot Club, Dragonfly and Toro Salao are right in front of each other and offer an elegant space for dinning in a vibrant atmosphere until late at night.
A short walk away from Dragonfly, tucked away in a narrow street you’ll Nuyorican Café.If you don’t find it at first, all you need to do is follow the sound of live salsa music.
