What’s going on?
March marks the anniversary of the Taste of Rums festival in the capital city of San Juan. For two days, the best rums of Puerto Rico put on their tuxes to show off at the Paseo La Princesa in a feast of quality spirits, delicious food and intoxicating sounds.

The Puerto Rico Heineken Jazz Fest returns for another year of swinging Latin jazz compliments of some of the world’s top jazz musicians. The weekend of March 30th through April 1st, the Tito Puente Amphitheater will be hosting big names such as Poncho Sánchez, Giovanni Hidalgo and the world-famous Flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía in what promises to be a weekend full of rhythm and sabor!
For a dose of action-packed sports, all you need to do is head on over to the Coliseo de Puerto Rico on March 19 and 20 for the Puerto Rico Tennis Cup. For two days, Puerto Rico’s top indoor venue will be hosting four of the top 20 men’s tennis players in the world. Here’s your chance to see David Ferrer, Gaël Monfils, Robin Söderling and John Isner battle it out on the court to see who will become the Puerto Rico Tennis Cup champion.
Nothing says spring break like a good ol’ massive dance party and if electronic music gets your blood and fists pumping, then you are in luck. The Mega Electronic Fest brings together the world’s best DJ’s in one huge open-air stadium. Artists like Tiesto, Martin Solveig, Knife Party, Fedde Le Grand and much more will be touching down on the Hiram Bithorn Stadium ready to make the masses dance. The kickoff party takes place March 17 at 4pm and closes out at midnight. In case you can’t make it to the first one don’t worry, because on March 24 they will do it all over again plus you get one more hour todance and get down, Puerto Rico style.
